Bollywood Actor, Nana Patekar visited Raj Thackeray
at Thackeray's Shivaji park residence on Thursday and
spent an hour with him. There is speculation that Nana
patekar who has a large following in Maharashtra may
join the Shiv Sena.
Patekar has in the past locked horns with Shiv Sena
chief Bal Thackeray when the latter criticised noted
Marathi humourist and writer P L Deshpande.
If Nana joins the Sena, it will be a boost for them
in the State. Nana has admitted meeting Raj Thackeray
but said they did not discuss politics. Nana said he
supports all those who do good work.
Yesterday a few theatre personalities and a number
of Sena activists from western Maharashtra visited Raj
Thackeray.
Thackeray will begin his tour of Maharashtra in January.
He is expected to formally announce the new party's
name and symbol shortly.
