Irumudi special trains from Mumbai

Mumbai: Following the Christmas-special trains to clear the additional rush of commuters, the Central Railway will now run trains to Melamaruvathur in celebration of the Irumudi festival.
 
This exclusive train will take to the tracks on December 25 and 29. The train (no. 0163) will leave Mumbai CST at 11.35 pm and arrive at Melamaruvathur at 7.30 am on the third day. Whereas, the train (no.0164) will depart from Melamaruvathur at 11.00 am on December 28 and January 1 and arrive at Mumbai CST at 4.50 pm on the next day.
 
The trains will have 13 sleeper class compartments, two general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches. These trains will make halts at Pune, Solapur, Wadi, Guntakkal, Renigunta, Arakkonam and Chengalpattu both ways.
