Couple charred Accidently

ANDHERI - On November 28 a woman was charred to death when she poured kerosene into the stove to light it. In an attempt to save his wife, the husband too, was engulfed in flames. The two, Zarina Abdul Karodia (40) and Mohhamed Abdul Karodia were residents of Hanif wirewala chawl, Andheri (W).
On hearing their cries, their neighbour, Khursheed Sayyab entered their house and took them to Cooper Hospital. Dr Nagarkar said, “Abdul has sustained 30% burns but his wife had sustained 95% burns.“ She passed away on November 29. Abdul told said “I got burnt while trying to save my wife.” I have a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter who is in my village now.
Their neighbour said that before the mishap, the family was getting ready to attend someone's wedding. When the lady was caught in flames and her husband came to her rescue, she told him to stay away. Abdul is in Cooper Hospital and a case has been registered in the D N Nagar police station.
