In conversation with Mr.Raogar of Ambica Agarbathies:
How's the company doing?
Quite well. The Hotel division is doing especially
well. We hope to have a ten per topline and ten percent
bottomline growth. We look forward to maintaining the
dividend and maybe giving a final dividend too this
year.
Any demerger plans on the cards?
We've been looking into this but our statutory auditors
have told us there would be tax implications of going
in for a demerger. So it's not something we would be
looking at, anytime soon.
There were also talks of a preferential allotment
sometime back.
We have dropped the idea of going in for preferential
allotment since our working capital requirements have
been met from internal accruals and bank loans.
Your company is one of the few that have underperformed
the sensex for the last few years.
Yes, although we're doing well the market continues
to ignore our performance. Our valuation is lower than
it should be. Hopefully that should change soon.
