Water & Power Consultancy Services (India) Limited (WAPCOS) has declared 70% dividend in its 35th Annual General Meeting. Shri D. Datta, Chairman and Managing Director of the company has informed that the Company has recorded the highest ever turnover of Rs. 6176 lakhs during the year 2003-2004 and posted a profit of Rs. 1077.67 lakhs against Rs. 73.59 lakhs during the last year. The turnover achievement is 50% higher than the year 2002-203 and gross margin is 739% higher than the previous year. Mr. Datta further informed that company’s focus last year was to place the Company on the path of growth. During the current year, the agenda is the transformation of WAPCOS into a world-class consultancy organization. WAPCOS is a Mini Ratna Company under the aegis of Ministry of Water Resources and is an ISO 9001:2000 certified premier international consultancy organization in water resources, power and infrastructure development.
