tenure of justice nanavati commission of inquiry extended

The Union Cabinet has approved further extension of one month upto January 31, 2005 of the Justice Nanavati Commission of Inquiry. The Commission was set-up to inquire into the 1984 anti-Sikh riots which broke out in the National Capital Territory of Delhi and other parts of the country following the assassination of Smt. Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister.
