The Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Shri Sunil Dutt has condoled the passing away of former Captain of the Indian Cricket team Vijay Hazare. In a message, Shri Dutt said, “Vijay Hazare was one of the finest Cricketers the game has ever produced. The legendary cricketer always set high standards for himself and his team.
In Vijay Hazare’s death, we have not only lost a great cricketer but a good human being who was an asset to the world of sports not only because of his performance in the game but also because of his human qualities”.
