The Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Smt. Meira Kumar has expressed deep shock at the sudden demise of the former Prime Minister Shri P.V. Narsimha Rao. In a condolence message addressed to his eldest son Shri P.V. Ranga Rao, Smt. Meira Kumar said that in the death of Shri Narsimha Rao, India has lost an able statesman and a visionary. She said that Shri Narsimha Rao will always be remembered for his bold initiative in opening up of Indian economy. Shri Narsimha Rao was a multi-faceted personality and his literary activities will be long cherished.
