CCEA today gave its approval to the First Revised Cost Estimate (RCE-I-Completion Cost) of Rs.322.55 crores including Interest During Construction (IDC) of Rs. 10.57 crores and Working Capital Margin (WCM) of Rs. 4.95 crores at July, 1998 price level of Agartala Gas Turbine Power Project (84 MW) executed by the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) at Ramchandranagar, Tripura.
The Agartala Gas Turbine Power Project (84 MW), project comprising of 4 gas turbine units of 21 MW each was initially approved with an estimated cost of Rs.294.05 crores, including IDC of Rs.26.97 crores and WCM of Rs.2.36 crores at Dec.’1992 level. Since all the four units of the project have been commissioned, it has been felt necessary to frame the estimate on completed cost basis. Accordingly, the cost has been revised considering the completed cost of various components.
