The Ministry of Railways has contributed one day’s salary of Railwaymen and women across the country amounting to Rupees 15 crores to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund to supplement the national efforts in aid of relief and rehabilitation measures for the victims of December 26, 2004 Tsunami earthquake in the country. A cheque to this effect has been sent to the Prime Ministers office here today.
