Lok Sabha
Nine Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs) under the Department of Heavy Industry made profit during 2003-04. The average amount of profit earned annually by these PSEs during the last three financial years was Rs.881.41 crore.
The capital invested in terms of equity by the Government/Holding Companies in these PSEs as on 31.03.2004 was Rs. 1043.22 crore.
This information was given by the Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Shri Sontosh Mohan Dev in a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha today.
