The total value of mineral production covering metalliferrous and industrial minerals excluding fuel, atomic and minor minerals in October, 2004, is estimated at Rs.707 crore as against Rs.585 crore in October, 2003. During September, 2004, the total value of these minerals production was Rs.781 crore.
