Efforts are essentially directed towards continuous updation of knowledge and skills of the railway employees through the process of training at regular intervals to meet the increasinh customers’ expectations in providing the necessary services and absorb the rapid changes in technology and working practices all round.
Though not fully quantifiable, significant improvement has taken place.
This information was given by the Minister of Railways Shri Lalu Prasad in reply to a question from S/Shri Ilyas Azmi and Bir Singh Mahato in the Lok Sabha today.
