Justice (Retd.) Irshad Hasan Khan, Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan had a meeting with the Election Commission of India yesterday. Shri T.S. Krishnamurthy, Chief Election Commissioner of India and Shri B.B. Tandon, Election Commissioner were present in the meeting. The two sides had fruitful exchange of ideas on electoral processes and management in both the countries in detail. Both sides hoped that there will be many more occasions like this to strengthen bonds between the two Commissions by periodical meetings and interactions in the coming future. The visiting CEC extended his invitation to his Indian counterpart and the Election Commissioners to visit Pakistan.
