Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs today gave its in principle approval to Ministry of Power for introduction of a new scheme namely “Scheme of Rural Electricity Infrastructure and Household Electrification”.
The Ministry will examine key issues to further strengthen the proposed scheme and will revert for final approval to CCEA.
