Lok Sabha
An allocation of Rs.3 crore has been made for the Jiribam-Toupur new line project during 2004-05.
Preliminary activities like final location survey, preparation of plans and estimates have been taken up.
The project would be completed in the coming years as per availability of resources.
This information was given by the Minister of State for Railways, Shri R. Velu, in a written reply to a question from Shri Thokchom Meinya in the Lok Sabha today.
