The Union Cabinet today gave its ex-post-facto approval for the Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU) between Government of India and Government of Myanmar for cooperation in the field of Non-Traditional Security Issues.
The Agreement was signed on 25th October, 2004 for a period of 5 years for strengthening the frame work for security cooperation between India and Myanmar and enhancing mutual cooperation in combating terrorism, organized crime, drug trafficking and money laundering.
