Minister for Tribal Affairs and Development of North Eastern Region, Shri P.R. Kyndiah has expressed profound sorrow at the sad demise of Shri P.V. Narasimha Rao, former Prime Minister of India.
In his condolence message, Shri Kyndiah said "we remember him as a person who charted a new course in the country in bringing about liberalisation and economic reforms. He had special interest and affection for the tribal people and was the source of inspiration to the people of North Eastern Region to whom he bestowed economic benefits in numerous ways ".
