The World Bank aided Environmental Management Capacity Building Technical Assistance project has been implemented at US $ 29.62 million. The project was started in September, 1997 and its implementation has already been completed and the project has closed on 30.6.2004. The overall performance of the project has been rated satisfactory.
This was stated by the Minister of State for Environment and Forest, Shri Namo Narain Meena in Lok Sabha in a reply to a question by Shri Navjot Singh Sidhu here today.
