Ministry of Rural Development released Rs. 146.12 lakhs (Rupees One Crore Forty Six lakhs and Twelve Thousands only) as Second Installment equal to 40% of the total allocation in view of the order passed by the honble Supreme Court of India to two districts of Jammu & Kashmir, as Central assistance for the implementation of the Sampoorna Grameen Rozgar Yojana(SGRY), during the current financial year (2004-2005). The Department also approved the release of 328 tonnes of Common Wheat and 689 tonnes of Common Rice as second instalment of foodgrains during 2004-05 to these two districts. The expenditure on implementation of the programme with regard to cash component is to be shared on 75:25 basis between the Central and the State Government, respectively. The ZPs/DRDAs will release the entire funds allocated to them directly to the District Panchayat, Intermediate Panchayats and Village Panchayats in the proportion of 20:30:50 respectively within fifteen days of receipt of funds from the Centre or the State without waiting for matching Share either from the Centre of the State
