air services agreement between india and morocco to be signed today

India and Morocco will formally sign the Air Services Agreement today in the presence of the Prime Ministers of both the countries. The Indian Minister for Civil Aviation and the Moroccan Transport Minister will sign it for their respective countries.

According to the agreement to be signed later in the day, each country can designate upto two airlines to fly in to each others country. For now the designated airlines of India is Air India, while that for Morocco is Royal Air Maroc.

The point of call for India is Casablanca and that for Morocco is Delhi.

Air Services Agreement between India and Morocco was initialed on 11th December 1996 in New Delhi. Cabinet had approved the proposal of the signing of the text of the Air Services Agreement between the two countries on 14th October 1997.
