The Chairman and Members of the Twelfth Finance Commission called on the President Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam at Rashtrapati Bhavan today and submitted the Report of the Commission. They also briefed the President on the recommendations made in the report. The President appreciated the promptness with which the report was completed and submitted ahead of time and satisfaction at the forward looking recommendations contained in the report.
