The indigenously developed missile, Dhanush, was test fired successfully from a naval ship off the Orissa coast on the 07th of last month. Dhanush is the naval version of the surface to surface missile system Prithvi-II. Development tests of the missile have been completed and it is in the final phase of induction.
This information was given by the Defence Minister Shri Pranab Mukherjee in a written reply to Shri Ekanath K Thakur in Rajya Sabha today.
