The Union Minister of Finance, Shri P. Chidambaram gave away the FICCI Annual Award 2003-2004 to the Managing Director, Konkan Railway Corporation, Shri B. Rajaram, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to knowledge-based industries, at a function here today.
The Award carries cash amount of Rs. One lakh. It is given to promote individual, corporate, institutional initiative in economic, social and scientific areas.
The Jury was headed by Shri Justice P.N. Bhagwati, former Chief Justice of India, alongwith other distinguished members from Government, Industry and Science and Technology.
