The Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, Thiru T. R. Baalu has approved road improvement works on two National Highway sections in the State of Orissa at a total cost of Rs. 687.10 lakh.
Approval has been granted for widening existing single-lane to two-lane carriageway with Improvement of Riding Quality Programme (IRQP), from 21km to 30 km of NH-200 at a cost of Rs. 499.97 lakh.
Approval has also been granted for widening existing single-lane/Intermediate lane to two-lane carriageway with improvement of Riding Quality from 295km to 300 km of NH-201 at a cost of Rs. 187.13 lakh.
