Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. has decided to run special trains between Chatterpati Shivaji Terminal Mumbai (CSTM) and Madgaon and between Dadar and Madgaon to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Ganpati Festival this year.
0107 Dn unreserved special train will run ex-CSTM on 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th, and 13th and 15th of September, 2005. The train will leave CSTM at 2355 hrs and reach Madgaon at 1400 hrs. 0108 Up unreserved special train will run ex-Madgaon on 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th and 16th of September 2005. The train will leave from Madgaon at 1500 hrs. and reach CSTM at 1420 hrs. Both the special trains will halt at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer Khed, Chiplun, Savarde, Aravali Rd, Sangameswar, Ratnagiri, Advali. Vilavade, Rajapur Rd, Vaibhavwadi, Nandgaon Rd, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi, Madure Pernem, Thivim and Karmali. The trains will have 17 coaches.
Dadar-Madgaon-Dadar reserved daily special trains will run from 3rd to 8th and 11th to 17th September 2005. 0105 Dn train will leave from Dadar at 0035 hrs. and reach Madgaon at 1440 hrs. 0106 Up train will leave from Madgaon at 1530 hrs. and reach Dadar at 0500 hrs next day. These special trains will halt at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer Khed, Chiplun, Savarde, Aravali Rd, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Rd, Vaibhavwadi, Nandgaon Rd, Kankaali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi, Madure Pernem. Thivim and Karmali. These trains will have 17 coaches.
