A revival plan for HMT Watches is being prepared for consideration of the Government.
The Government has provided financial assistance of Rs.22.10 crore to HMT Watches Ltd. as loan to clear the outstanding wages of employees of all its units. Wages up to 31.3.2005 have been disbursed.
This information was given by the Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Shri Sontosh Mohan Dev in a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha today.
