Government’s attention has been drawn to reports which appeared on 1st August, 2005 in some newspapers that the enquiry case relating to sale transactions of Hotel Juhu Centaur and Hotel Airport Centaur Mumbai, had been returned by the CBI to Ministry of Finance.
These reports are not correct. The Ministry of Finance have furnished all the material available with it to the CBI, including the report of the CAG. No communication has been received by the Ministry of Finance from CBI.
