Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has reported that the condition of reserving at least 25% of the total indoor beds for free treatment of the poor was not imposed in some cases while alloting land to several social and charitable institutions for setting up of hospitals and dispensaries. The names of such institutions/hospitals are as below:

DDA has also reported that action has been initiated to examine all such cases and to incorporate the conditions wherever feasible. Officials found responsible for specific acts of omission and commission in this regard is liable for action as per the relevant rules. Separately, notices have been issued in all cases where the conditions were violated by the institutions and a system of fortnightly reporting for monitoring compliance of condition regarding free treatment of poor has been put in place in association with the Directorate of Health Services, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi.
