The Union Cabinet today gave its approval for one time increase of Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) by 5% for Gramin Dak Sevaks with effect from April 1, 2004. This Cabinet decision will improve the emoluments of Gramin Dak Sevaks without extending the benefit of merger of 50% DA with the TRCA.
