Rajya Sabha
Railways have planned to develop New Delhi, Howrah (Kolkata), Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (Mumbai) and Chennai Railway station (Chennai) into world class stations through proposed Rail Land Development Authority, as announced in Railway budget 2005-06.
This information was given by Minister of State for Railways Shri R. Velu in written reply to a question by Smt. Savita Sharda in Rajya Sabha today.
