Deendayal Disabled Rehabilitation Scheme (DDR) Scheme is implemented through Voluntary Organisations. Under this scheme, grant-in-aid is provided to Voluntary organisations for running special schools, vocational training centers, early intervention programmes, community based rehabilitation programmes, half-way home for rehabilitation of treated and cured mentally ill people, rehabilitation of leprosy cured persons etc.
