All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), in pursuance of its policy to expand Quality Technical Education, has sanctioned 175 new institutions creating 20,000 additional seats in various disciplines in the country. These consist of 33 MBA institutions with 1940 seats, 06 MCA institutions with 360 seats, 72 Pharmacy institutions with 4270 seats, 54 Engineering & Technology institutions with 12000 seats, 07 Hotel Management institutions with 420 seats, 01 Fine Arts institution with 15 seats and 02 Architecture institutions with 80 seats.
