The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments: -
Shri Madhukar Gupta, IAS(UL:71), presently, Vice Chairman, Delhi Development Authority has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Fertilizers (Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers).
Shri Ashok Kumar Mahapatra, IAS(HP:71), currently Chairman, Tariff Commission has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
Shri Champak Chatterjee, IAS(WB:71), Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Cooperation (Ministry of Agriculture) has been appointed as Special Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Cooperation (Ministry of Agriculture) by temporarily upgrading the post held by him.
Shri Dinesh Rai, IAS(UP:74), presently Managing Director, National Cooperatives Development Corporation has been appointed as Vice Chairman, Delhi Development Authority in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
