The Union Cabinet today gave its approval for the introduction of a Bill in Parliament for amending the National Commission for Minority Education Institutions Act, 2004, namely, the “National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions (Amendment) Bill, 2005”. The proposed Bill will safeguard the Constitutional guarantee to minorities regarding establishing and administering educational institutions of their choice.
