‘The Deccan Odyssey’, a Tourism Train has been introduced by Maharashtra Development Tourism Corporation (MTDC). It covers the State Maharashtra and Goa. MTDC has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Karnataka Tourism Development Corporation to launch a luxury tourist train that will cover the States of Karnataka and Goa.
This was stated by the Minister of State for Tourism, Smt. Renuka Chowdhury in a reply to a question by Shri Dushyant Singh in the Lok Sabha here today.
