Shri M.L.Sharma, an IPS officer of 1972 batch of Rajasthan
Cadre, joined CBI as Additional Director here today. A recipient
of Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 1988 and President's
Police Medal for Distinguished Service in 1995, Shri Sharma
was Additional Director General, BSF before joining the premier
investigative agency.
Shri Sharma has vast experience of CBI stretching over 14
years as SP, DIG and Joint Director. He was also IG (CID)
Crime Branch, Rajasthan for about four years and Addl. DG
(Vigilance) of the state before joining BSF in December, 2003.
