The Vice President, Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat has greeted the countrymen on the joyous and auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti.
In a message, Shri Shekhawat said that Bhagwan Mahavir’s life and teachings are a precious treasure of our spiritual heritage, which have great potential to save mankind from ignorance, violence and moral decay. Through his message, Mahavira showed us the glorious path of non-violence and universal love. He remains an abiding source of inspiration and spiritual strength for all humanity, he added.
`Let us rededicate ourselves to the enlightened teachings of Lord Mahavira on this occasion’, Shri Shekhawat said.
