The National Commission for Youth was constituted to study the problems of youth. The Commission has submitted its recommendations to Government. The recommendations of the Commission have been considered by the Government. Most of the major recommendations of the NCY relating to this Ministry have been accepted in principle. Recommendations pertaining to other Ministries and the State Governments have been referred to them.
This information was given by Shri Sunil Dutt, Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today.
