The Ministry of Human Resource Development has constituted a Fact Finding Committee to review the work and progress of the Mahatma Gandhi Antarrastriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya (MGAHV), Wardha since its inception. The Members of the Committee are : Dr. Bipin Chandra, Eminent Historian and Chairman, National Book Trust; Prof. Krishna Kumar, Director, NCERT; Dr. Uday Narayan Singh, Director, CIIL, Mysore; and Prof. U.R. Ananthamurthi, Former President, Sahitya Akademi, Delhi.

The Committee has been constituted in view of several complaints and allegations leveled against the Vice-Chancellor of MGAHV and other officers regarding academic, financial and administrative functioning of the University. The Committee has been constituted with the approval of the President of India, in his capacity, as the Visitor of the MGAHV and will also probe into the management of accounts in the Bhasha Kendra, Lucknow and other related aspects. It will examine the proposal of the Vice-Chancellor, MGAHV regarding premature repatriation of Dr. Ram Kripal Tewari, Registrar.

The Committee will submit its report within a period of three months.
