The President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in his message on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, which is being celebrated tomorrow has said: -
“On the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, I extend my greetings and good wishes to all our people.
Lord Mahavir preached many beautiful ideas. Perhaps in this day and age one of this thoughts which all of us should follow is that of reaching out to other human beings through love in the form of active manifestation, especially towards the needy and helpless”.
