The President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has condoled the loss of lives in the railway accident today near Samaliya Village in Gujarat.
In a condolence letter to the Minister for Railways, Shri Lalu Prasad, the President has asked him to convey his condolences to the next of kin of those who have lost their dear ones and also his prayers for speedy recovery of the injured.
Dr. Kalam has also said that he is sure that the Railway Ministry in coordination with the local authorities is making all efforts to provide rescue and relief to the injured in this tragedy.
