There is no Homeopathic doctor in the Army Medical Corps. The Army Medical Corps provides war-time and peace-time treatment to the Armed Forces personnel and their families. Keeping in view the special requirements of the Armed Forces, the Allopathic system of medicine is considered more suitable. Hence, there is no proposal for introducing Homeopathic treatment in military hospitals.
This information was given by the Defence Minister Shri Pranab Mukherjee in a written reply to Smt Maneka Gandhi in Lok Sabha today.
