The Hindi Salahakar Samiti of the Ministry of Steel in its meeting here today deliberated upon the progressive use of the Official Language in the main Ministry as also in various Wings/Organisations under the Steel Ministry . The meeting was Chaired by the Minister of Steel, Chemicals & Fertilizers, Shri Ram Vilas Paswan and was attended by Members of the Samiti and Senior Officials.
The implementation of the Official Language Policy of the Ministry for the year 2005-06 was discussed. Shields/Trophies for the year 2001-02 for outstanding work in Hindi were also presented to various Undertakings like NMDC Ltd., Ferro Scrap Nigam Ltd., SAIL and MSTC Ltd.
