government ratifies rate of interest on epf accumulations

Government of India has ratified the rate of interest on Employees Provident Fund (EPF) accumulations as follows:

For 2002-03 - 9.5%

For 2003-04 - 9% plus 0.5% (as bonus)

The ratification was done by Ministry of Finance, here today.
