Some reports have appeared in the press that the Justice Mukherjee Commission of Inquiry investigating the disappearance of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is not being given more time to complete its inquiry and is also not being allowed to visit certain foreign countries for the purposes of the enquiry. It is clarified that the Commission will be given more time, if required, to complete its inquiry. The Commission has already visited a number of countries and will be allowed to visit more countries, if required for the purpose.
