CBI on Friday filed a chargesheet under-section 302, 307
of IPC and u/s 27 of Arms Act, 1959 against a Central Industrial
Secuity Force (CISF) Constable, Ravinder Rana in the court
of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Delhi. Constable Rana had
shot dead two of his colleagues namely; Constables R.Kannan
and T.Shankar and injured three others on 18.1.2005 by firing
from his service rifle at Security Guard Barracks in the Indian
Embassy, Kathmandu, Nepal. The Chief Metropoltan Magistrate
has assigned this case to Shri V.K. Khanna, Metropolitan Magistrate,
Patiala House Court, New Delhi for disposal as per law.
