The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments: -
Shri Jainder Singh, IAS(AP:72), presently awaiting posting on return from leave, as Adviser, Planning Commission, in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary vice Smt. Suman Swarup, IAS(AGMU:69) on her retirement on 31.3.2005, by downgrading the post to the level of Additional Secretary.
Shri Chandra Pal, IAS(UP:72), presently in the cadre, as Adviser, Planning Commission, in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary, vice Smt. Sushma Choudhary, IAS(JK:69) on her retirement on 31.3.2005, by downgrading the post to the level of Additional Secretary.
Shri Ashok Chawla, IAS(GJ:73), presently Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, as Additional Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, vice Shri Sudhir G. Mankad, IAS(GJ:71) on his reversion to his cadre.
Shri I.M.G. Khan, IPoS(70), presently in the cadre, as Additional Secretary, Department of Pensions and Pensioners’ Welfare, in the post vacated by Shri Yashwant S. Bhave, IAS(MH:72) on his appointment as Additional Secretary, Department of Telecommunications.
Shri Jivtesh Singh Maini, IAS(PB:74), presently in the cadre, as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, vice Shri Ashok Chawla, IAS(GJ:73).
