The Vice President, Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat has conveyed his greetings and good wishes to the countrymen on the holy and auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, the day Prophet Mohamed made his descent on Earth.
In a message, Shri Shekhawat said that Prophet showed to the mankind the path of righteousness, compassion, charity and brotherhood. Let his message provide us spiritual happiness, peace and virtue and inspire us to work for the welfare of the poor and the downtrodden, he added.
May this festival unite us all in a common brotherhood of humanity and fill our lives with peace and prosperity, Shri Shekhawat said.
