The President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in his message on the occasion of Vaisakhi, which is being celebrated tomorrow, has said: -
“On the auspicious occasion of Vaisakhi, I extend my greetings and good wishes to all my people and especially to those who are engaged in cultivation and farming.
May this joyous festival, coinciding with the harvest season, bring peace, happiness and prosperity to the people and especially to those in the farming profession. May the bounty of nature shower its blessings on our hardworking farmers”.
